Guest guest
Hello- I can't eat raw veggies either...or nuts, or seeds, or most raw fruit. I understand that steaming vegetables is best because the veggies retain more of their nutrients this way. Personally, I don't like to microwave anything, but when I have had to microwave veggies, I just heat a little water to boiling, then set the vegetables in the hot water, and cover with a plate for awhile, til they're steamed. Happy veggies- KashKona On Fri, 14 May 1999 00:35:14 Soloebe wrote: >Soloebe > >hello greets soloebe--> >since you are talking about foods may I ask if I must ahve cooked foods (and >I must i can't eat raw veggies) would it be better to at least steam them or >microwave them or bake? >soloebe says goodbye and thanku-> > >------ >ONElist: where the world talks! > >Join a new list today. >------ >"OUR DESTINY IS TO BE HAPPY" > - Yogi Bhajan > >Website at http://www.gtmark.com/ky/ >To from this list, go to >ONElist Member Center, or send mail to >Kundaliniyoga- > *********************************** chickclick.com http://www.chickclick.com girl sites that don't fake it. http://www.chickmail.com sign up for your free email. ***********************************

Guest guest
--- Hi- Nutrient-wise, I think microwaving is like steaming veggies, in their own juices. It's just the idea of microwaving my food that I don't like. It's just a personal thing. I prefer to avoid radiation of any kind, but I, like many people, sometimes don't have a choice when I need to heat something at work. Guest guest
I actually read that microwaving is better because it keeps more nutrients intact. Who knows anymore!! : ) Betty
