Guest guest
Hi Yngupta Welcome to Kundalini Yoga. Which mail program are you using? Could you forward a copy of your incoming mail to me, off-list, and I'll check it out to see. Is anyone else out there getting these same codes appearing on their mail? How easy it will be for you to awaken your Kundalini remains to be seen. The whole thrust of Kundalini Yoga is to ensure that your body is ready for this, and the awakening is normally a gradual process. For most people this is by far the safest way to go about things. Sudden awakenings can be hazardous - there is a lot of literature around detailing some of the possible consequences. Once your K is awake, on-going and regular practice of KY will not only maintain it, but also enhance it - there are many levels to aspire to beyond mere awakening, as you yourself appear to hint in your letter. Perhaps others more knowledgeable about this than myself would care to comment further. Enjoy your Kundalini Yoga, and enjoy this mailing list. Sat Nam! Guest guest
Hi, I am curious about the difference between the 'Kriya Yoga' and "Kundilini Yoga'. I Just joined the list and pleased to see people around the globe having interest in this subject. I am 28yrs. old and working as a software consultant in USA. I am getting lessons from 'Self Realization Fellowship' about the KriyaYoga. (Curious readeres should read the Book 'An Autobiography of a Yogi' by Paramhansa Yogananda.) I am following these lessons which are helping me a lot in day to day business. How Kundilini Yoga would process? I saw list of some people as certified teacher in Kundilini Yoga. What does that mean? Is there a relation of Guru-Shishya being established if you get training from these people? Will you please clear my confusion? Thanks, Unmesh Laddha ----Original Message Follows---- "gordon" <gordon Hi Yngupta Welcome to Kundalini Yoga. Guest guest
Hi Unmesh Welcome to Kundalini Yoga. Regarding your question about SRF and Kriya Yoga, this topic has been discussed on here before. I'm quoting below from a reply to a similar question given by one of our other rs. (Larry, if you have anything to add to what you said previously, please post it.) Your question on certified KY teachers - this indicates that they have gone through the appropriate training and demonstrated that they have reached the necessary levels of competence to be recognized as teachers of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and to attain membership of IKYTA - the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association, as run by 3HO. Sat Nam! Gordon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> laurence beyer <larbeyer9 Hello Felicia, I have studied SRF on and off over the past 12 -14 years. I never decided to be initiated in Kriya yoga. The yogas are similair in that kundalini energy is being utilized but in different ways. Kundalini yoga as tauught by the 3HO Organization, Yogi Bhajan's yoga, has no guru. They are Siekhs, and if you choose to folow their teachings the guru is their Holy Book , Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The yoga they teach is very powerful, it has had a profound effect on my sadhana and life. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > "unmesh laddha" <unmeshl > > Hi, > I am curious about the difference between the 'Kriya Yoga' and "Kundilini > Yoga'.
