Guest guest
Greetings All, I was wondering firstly how busy this list is? Is it always this quiet? And secondly, my intro My net name is Vixen and I am part of many online mailing lists which I enjoy thoroughly. I have been curious about Yoga for a couple of years now, but have been unable to find anyone in my area who runs beginner courses. My mum used to do Yoga many years ago and I asked her to teach me, but she couldn't remember any of the stretches I am a Reiki practitioner preparing to be attuned to level 2 soon. I've been reading a little about the Kundalini recently and would like to know more and even though this is a Kundalini Yoga mailing list, I feel I can learn a lot from you all and share ths tiny bit of knowledge I already have Anyway I am from Australia, (Western Australia to be exact) and I look forward to learning about the Kundalini Yoga system. Sorry for rambling! regards, Vixen.
Guest guest
Hi Vixen Welcome to Kundalini Yoga. > I was wondering firstly how busy this list is? Is it always this quiet? > The list tends to have sporadic bursts of activity, interspersed by periods of (meditative) silence. Maybe if we get a few more rs on here like yourself that might change! ;-) > And secondly, my intro > My net name is Vixen and I am part of many online mailing lists which I > enjoy thoroughly. The information is not yet complete, but there is enough to give you a start. Also check out some of the links to other KY sites. Then, please come back here and ask your questions - there must be a lot of things that you would like to have clarified - and such questions can sometimes spark a thread into life and bring a few more folk out from behind the bushes. > Anyway I am from Australia, (Western Australia to be exact) and I look > forward to learning about the Kundalini Yoga system. Have you checked out the KY teachers in your area. I have no idea how many there are in that part of Oz, but if you click on the IKYTA link under Australia you will be able to find out. The best way to learn KY is by going to classes - if they are available. If not, then we will do our best to help you along on here, and we have our on-line classes commencing this Fall. Hope you enjoy your time here with us, and enjoy your Kundalini Yoga. Sat Nam! Gordon
