Guest guest
Hi Kashkona I was hoping that someone else would step in here. There is a link to a site about Maha Yoga from our website. My understanding is that the Kundalini is awakened directly by intervention of the guru in Maha Yoga - by a process called Shaktipat. With Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, the awakening is brought about by the efforts of the student, following the prescribed kriyas, mantras, etc. and the risk is greatly reduced, because in the course of so doing, the body is prepared for the energy before it is unleashed. This topic has been discussed here before. You may well find that a visit to our archives will pay dividends. If anyone else wants to comment on this subject, please do so. Sat Nam! Gordon K_Cerridwen (AT) xxxxx (DOT) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) Question I tried to post this earlier, but it never showed up in my mail. Please forgive me if it's a repeat. My question is this: Is there a difference between the Kundalini Yoga which Yogi Bhajan teaches, and the Kudalini Maha taught by Shri Dhyanyogi? If there is, could someone please explain the difference to me?
