Guest guest
Dear Daniel, Noticing is an art. To perfect simply being with what is happening is the goal of the yin part of our being. I would say be with what you are experiencing and watch how it impacts how you feel and react. We change all the time, so monitoring our moods and energy and even the placement of our chakras is a very useful tool in this experience called life. Maybe you will find that at this time, certain things are easier to accomplish or this time favors meditation and being with yourself, for example. And you are feeling fine. Great. You can enjoy the process even more. Thanks for sharing. Guest guest
>>>Daniel Antonio Gambetta hola, just a quick question for all u experts out there, i noticed that my chakras are a little bit on the left side of my body, (the yin side) is there anything amiss? i feel fine though..>>>> I found this post quite interesting. What is the significance of feeling 'stuff' on the left side? Why on the left? For me, when I meditate, esp. after chanting, my left side jerks. It's been happening for a year now. I probably look a little freakish when it happens. I was told by my teacher, that I'm trying to unblock my chakras by doing that. Is that all there is to it? Why doesn't it happen on my right side? Does my situation relate anything at all to Daniel's post above? I'd appreciate any input to this. Thanks!~ \ \
Guest guest
Dear Angela, The left side of the body is associated with the feminine, feeling side of our being. The right side is associated with our masculine, doing side of our being. In our culture we are trained mostly in masculine, linear, mental skills. Our left, sensation, spontaneous side needs to open up and be cultivated. This balancing happens automatically in meditation. One interpretation of the jerking is that your nervous system is being balanced and strengthened. It will be interesting to watch and see if the jerking subsides as you practice some of the KY exercises to strengthen the nervous system. You can start now with the 4 part breath that is on my website www.yogatech.com. Keep us posted.
