Guest guest
Hi! I'm Art Gregory and I've been taking Yoga classes more intensively the last three years or so. Earlier in my life as a teenager I practiced Yoga sporadically. Since February I've taught a weekly free class at a Hindu Temple in Riverside, California. The class is mostly made up of Hindu ladies and a few Christians...We also have a spiritually oriented female physician in the class that comments on the medical value of what we are doing... very few men are in the class... there are occasional children who participate that seem to provide additional enthusiasm and fun. I approach the subject using the generally plan of Patanjali... Starting the class with a short discussion on Yoga teachings or stories. We then practice basic Asanas, then Pranayama ... near the end of the class I encourage visualization of Pranic energy, the Chakras, and Pranic Healing. We conclude usually with Pranava. I have become aware of a heightened pranic energy in myself as well as among classmembers. They are progressing. I would like to learn from the list some of the things people have found important and useful in their practise. Lately, I've been particularly interested in the healing aspects of Pranic energy - Art Gregory lgregory
