Please note that any virus alerts posted here by myself have been checked out and are authentic. If anyone receives any alerts from elsewhere, please do not post them to the list (see FAQ) - if you are concerned, pass them on to me kundaliniyoga-owner I will make sure that they are not hoaxes before broadcasting them. "There is a new virus called VBS Monopoly or Monopoly VBS, depending on who is doing the telling. It's quite similar to the Melissa Virus that was all the talk a few months ago. This one is not supposed to be as bad, but is troublesome just the same. It pokes fun at Big Stella, Microsoft Chairman and Founder. ("Bill Gates" anagrams to Big Stella). The virus is spread via email, and most likely will come from someone you know with an infected computer, and has this... Subject line: Bill Gates joke and the message in the body: Bill Gates is guilty of monopoly. Here is the proof. ;-) If you run the attachment you'll see an image of Gates' face on a monopoly board, and your computer will be infected. Then, like Melissa, the virus will send itself to all addresses in your Outlook Express and Outlook address book. I don't know if it works on any other email programs. Let this be your reminder to update your antivirus definitions. If you don't have an antivirus program you really should get one.
