Guest guest
Dear psyberDude: Your description of K release and your study leading to it are very clearly described and parallel the very details of many members and individuals who have had this happen. Many western people having this occur "spontaneously" and with no preparation or context for it, believe they are going mad, being possessed by demonic forces (sadly the most zealous religious types from fundamentalist persuasions)! Or under some strange sickness that must be cured! Fortunately your awakening was primed a bit by your reading, and your exercises aimed at achieving it. Good for you. You seem to be solidly bolted together and have had enough inner wisdom to avoid jumping off a bridge or deciding to preach the end of the world or attempt to start some Messianic Religion, or worse...try to find someone to perform an exorcism! "Unclean Spirit! Depart! In nominae Sancti Filii!" There is the dramatic upsweep of music and eerie choral voices in frenetic syncopation and then the requisite eruption of Anderson's Split Pea soup from somewhere. Despite all of the incredible power of the Demon or Devil (which might include levitation hurling of vast massive objects through the air at high speed, summoning of serpents, snakes bats and even insurance salesmen, powerful fiery explosions, mutilations of entire tribes of poor uneducated villagers), however, The Evil One never manages to destroy the Humble Hero or Heroine...which a mere mortal could do with a sharp or even blunt object. Well, I have deviated a bit from my welcome letter... In any case, be welcome, grab a nearby sage brush (needed for imparting wisdom and sage advice) and sit near the Zoroastrian Pit of Flame, warm yourself, but watch out about setting the sage brush afire, unless you are well prepared for a very energetic journey. Blessings Love, Zenbob
Guest guest
Hi Folks I am glad to find a mailing list having to do with Kundalini. Back in year of 1976, on the east coast, a friend of mine gave me a book titled "Sexual Energy and Yoga" by Elisabeth Haisch. That book was my introduction to the phenomenon known as Kundalini. When I finished reading the book, I knew that I had stumbled onto a goldmine. I voraciously sought out other material about Kundalini, and soon learned a great deal about it. I found out how I could prepare myself for the great unfolding of the Serpent power. I learned about Hatha Yoga and the asanas, about pranayama which deals with breathing techniques that are designed to purify the body, and activate Kundalini. Around 1987, when I was living in Los Angeles, I woke up one morning thinking that it was going to be another ordinary day. Later in the afternoon as I was walking across the living room, an incredibly powerful jolt of what I can only describe as electricity shot up my spine and exploded into my brain. I was completely stunned. When the energy reached my brain, there was nothing but a bright, whiteness everywhere. I was blinded. I could see nothing but a pure white vastness. The room I was in no longer existed. I was completely frightened out of my mind. At the moment, I had no idea what had happened to me. I was frightened, but I also felt complete satisfaction. The feeling I experienced wasn't a feeling of being satisfied about something or other, rather it was a feeling of complete satisfation. I knew that this feeling was probably what some call nirvana, or samadhi. It is a state of pure bliss, where you don't need anything else to be added to you, to make you feel good. It is sufficient unto itself. This blissful state didn't last very long. Within seconds, my vision began to clear, and the blissful feeling subsided. I sat down and wrote the whole episode down in my diary. I now had personal proof of the existence of Kundalini. For me, it would no longer be just a good theory. Now I knew for certain what was possible. And many wonderful events have happened to me since that incredible experience back in 1987. I have learned how to conserve and transform my sexual energy from its raw, gross form, into the higher, finer spiritual frequencies of the Kundalini energy. I find that I get smarter and feel better as I transform more of my energy with every passing day. Life is good again. I can't imagine living a life without the knowledge of Kundalini, and the daily practice of Kundalini yoga. -- Dude --
