Guest guest
I wanted to thank everyone who made some recommendations on readings to better understand the history of Kundalini Yoga. Because I can't print out the e-mails due to a technical situation here I can't individually thank people, but I will definitely be looking at the books by Vivikenada , Goswami, the Hinduism links on Rattana's website and the Pinkham book. If I can extend the history question into another connection here I am wondering why people are always asking in class questions such as "Isn't kundalini the path of awakening through sexuality? Is the 3ho tradition of Kundalini more ascetical?" etc. A lot of the new age magazines have ads here for Kundalini-Shakti-Tantric classes with the emphasis on sensual experience and I think this is the popular conception. I also wanted to mention that Rattana gave me some excellent ideas for the format of the workshop yesterday and it went very well. She is a great person to ask questions to due to her extensive teaching experience and personal practice. I'll definitely be buying more books soon that she wrote. I was wondering if KRI or the Guru Ram Dass center in New Mexico are organizations people can contact if they want recommendations for working with people with injuries or with certain problems (ie eating disorders, insomnia or panic disorders). I'm very happy to be on this list and be able to deepen my practice and knowledge. Sat Nam, Debbie

They might know who to refer you too. When we get our list of teachers on Onelist, we can ask. Sat Nam, Rattana
