I must agree completely with your last comment...and as far as I am concerned, more can be learned from one hour of reading Jalaludin Rumi or Nasrudin stories than from five years of clinical psychology classes! Guest guest
I erased all my messages this afternoon by accident but recall some of the posts from this list and wanted to respond... I would like to see Yoga removed from the monetary system if at all possible because it is a classical system having little to do with a fee scale...there is the tradition of the Dakshina however. I recall zenbob writing about not putting down those who receive donations or fees for Yoga... Actually zenbob what I had in mind was attempting to reach people who worry about fees normally because they can't afford classes ... such as retired people... families and children... by encouraging them we more than gain and they gain of course. I find when free things are offered it's often synergistic ... it calls for a like response in others... they start giving of themselves ... going out of their way for people... its about a different style and energy... I know they're people out there who make their living doing massage and yoga and reike and I do support some of them myself ...on occasion, I also think there are some excellent instructional videos that we should use... The other question was the more "modern" approach to visualizing kundalini in relation to physiological organs as opposed to the more classical approach of ancient India... using the chakra diagrams along the nadi currents with less regard for the internal physiology...
