Guest guest
Dear Evicka, I thought the explanation yesterday and yours today made it clear. Bastrika breath emphasizes both the inhale and the exhale. And concentrates more on the diaphram and solar plexus Breath of Fire emphasizes only the exhale. The inhale is passive or automatic. I personally find that Breath of Fire involves mostly the navel and diaphram at first, but begins to include the whole abdominal area and first two chakras. I suggest practicing the the breath in these two different ways and experience for yourself what the difference is. Then let us know. TIP The answer is always in the experience. Go for the experience and let it speak to you. Guest guest
Dear Rattana, Thank you for shedding more light on the topic of Fire Breath. I could not help but have a smile on my face as I was reading your "TIP". Yes, I will be aware and listening to what is taking place while practicing. One part of my question I am still seeking answer for: is Kapalabhati and Breath of Fire one and the same or are these two separate and different techniques? Thank you again, Eva ..... Health is wealth, and piece of mind is happiness....[
