The position of the hands during meditation does effect where our energy

goes. And it is interesting to actually experience that placing our hands

on our hearts actually moves our energy up to our heart chakra. Thanks for

sharing this experience Darren.

 

In Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan we do not consider sexual energy

lust--we consider it creative energy that can and should be used for our

highest healing and consciousness. The trick, of course, is to channel this

energy to all of our chakras and distribute it through our whole body.

Placing the hands on the heart is one way to move this energy upward.

 

Placing our hands on our knees helps ancor us in our lower chakras. This is

very important for grounding our spiritual energy energy. It may not be

important to monks who live in the mountains and that is great for them, but

for householders who have to earn a living, take care of their famillies and

themselves, it is of utmost importance.

 

The foods you listed will determine how much sexual energy you generate.

The question is, what you wish to do. It is all a question of what path

each of us choses to follow.

 

TIP Where you hands go, so goes your energy. Attention intention.
