Guest guest
Sat Nam, My apologies to the list for the last message. I thought I was responding to Annuska's personal email address. So it is time for a TIP. Annuska talked about being sleepy a lot. There are many quick pick me up exercises in KY. One is on the www.yogatech.com site. It is a four part breath pumping the navel point for 2-3 minutes. Another is triangle pose for 5 minutes. I call these the afternoon pick me up exercieses. I have done one or the other almost everyday for years. It sure helps. Sat Nam, Rattana

She also have her blood checked for anemia. She is a strict vegan/vegetarian and does not wish to believe that such a diet might pose any form of health risk. For some people, it does not...but it is best to be safe and get annual check ups from a doctor who will check for blood iron levels. Just a side thought. Sat Nam! Guest guest
Don't forget the thyroid. Hypothyroid affects about 10% of women, less of men. And it is hard to detect. (Take you temperature before getting out of bed every morning for 5 mornings in a row -- if less than 97.6, you may have hypothyroidism. -- move as little as possible before taking your temperature, don't even shake down the thermometer -- do it the night before.) Yoga shoulder stand is what Dr. Weil recommends for hypothyroidism. Kelp also. Sometimes, for lack of energy, hot ginseng helps. And, of course, various yoga asanas.
