Guest guest
My name is Nicholas and I live in Los Angeles. My sikh name is Harimander Singh, which means "House of God". I have been practicing kundalini yoga for three years now. LA is a great town for this: lots of Sikhs, lots of yoga centers and fun people to practice with. One of the problems is that it has become desperately fashionable. Always a liability in tinseltown. My enthusiasm for kundalini picked when I attended the summer solstice week in Espanola. The tantric exercises really opened up my ability and my desire to pursue this further. I cannot recommend the experience enough. Sat Nam! Guest guest
Hello Everyone: Iam feeling real chatty tonight. This is my 3rd response after a long dry spell. I yearn for the time to be able to attend a KY solstice. Once Iam through college this December and have old business behind me, I can begin many new things. Iam sure, Nicholas, that solstice must be a very uplifting and energetic experience, to say the least. Where I live, Indianapolis, we could use some uplifting energy in this city. Why don't you bring some of the energy from the west coast with you here? It's not so bad in the midwest! I have another question: what is the difference between kundalini yoga and trantic yoga? I know the differences between red, white and black trantic, but what of kundalini yoga and white trantic's difference? Thank you, Nancy ***************************** NCaron wrote: > NCaron > > My name is Nicholas and I live in Los Angeles. My sikh name is Harimander > Singh, which means "House of God". Guest guest
Nancy, The next long tantric is in Lake Wales. Florida, Dec 21- 24. The weather will be warmer than in Indiana, which is the main argument for it. I'm not the right one to differentiate between KY and tantric, but I know that you need a mahan tantric (a guide), white clothes, a partner, a white head covering and several hundre partners for tantric. KY you could handle in the safety of your own home! Nicholas
