Guest guest Posted October 20, 1999 Report Share Posted October 20, 1999 yes! some time after my spontaneous kundalini experience - i was left with the same sensation of electrical current running through my body. at first it was strong, radiating on the right side of my groin area just about the time i was going into a sleep. as the years have passed, it only happens if i lay on my back to go to sleep and lay my left hand over my navel area. thats when i get my jolt - and consequently awaken from it. its good to know someone else experiences the same thing. thanks festina Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now, after nearly a year of work, when I want it, I can charge my belly with a kind of buzzing little energy field. And when my wife puts her hand on my belly, she receives a little electric shock. Not very strong, but real. Sometimes, this little electric field can come down to my knees. But it usually stays from solar plexus to 2 or 3 inches below the navel. Did anyone here experienced the same thing ? Froggy (toady ?) I get that electrical sound in my ears, but it happens at any time, usually when I stare off into the distance, so I guess that's a kind of meditative state. One ear will buzz, or ring, quite loud. Earlier this week I could swear that someone was yelling something at me up in a tree. Of course, no one was in the tree. Is this some kind of auditory intiution? Guest guest Posted October 21, 1999 Report Share Posted October 21, 1999 Hi, theese sounds that you refer to are usally caused when your astral hearing is awekening. It is mentioned in Raja Yoga as distance hearing (3rd eye : distant seeing etc.) and in Kabbalistik magickal systems as astral hearing (Magick, Maat Magic etc.). It is the awekening of the visshudha chackra that causes this. When you are out in the astral try to focus on where the sounds are coming from and you will usally find that your hearing is in your throath and not in your ears. In time theese "electrical" sounds can become beutifull music, birds singing, words and so on. For me these sounds usally start out sounding like high and low beeps and winds blowing. I don't know how this phenomena is seen on in Kundalini Yoga, but i'm very intressed in finding out. PS! Sorry for any misspellings....
