Guest guest
Dear Marlene, The two are similar but I think more complementary than the exact same thing. I experience that the Dan Tien is below the navel a couple of inches and that setting it is establishing a grounding or equilibrium point in the body. It does often result in a pulse at the navel because it simultaneously works on the navel too. There are so many techniques to accomplish these two goals. They support each other. Yogi Bhajan told us years ago to pick any martial art and practice it along with KY. He said we needed both. Sat Nam, Rattana thank you for relating this to martial art. I practice Qi Gong. I'm > trying to learn more about Kundalini Yoga. So when you say set the pulse > in your navel does that correlate with setting energy in the Dan Tien > area (navel)? I find many disciplines are referring to the same or > similar thing--just different word---Prana, Chi, Qi or Ki same also as > Mana and Ache. Different cultural name same or similar concept. > > Thanks Marlene > >
