Dear Jeanette.

 

I hope what I just posted will help. I was very frustrated when I first

tried to learn BF too. Specifically to your description---

 

I get two different ways of doing

Start with slight and it will be a bit more dynamic as you engage your

diaphram muscles.

 

> My lower abs are held in tight

 

They are held is slightly but not tight to point of strain. This is a very

important point. This will create a solid base in the lower chakras and the

energy will not be lost, but will stay in your body and move up.

 

and the

> navel and up to my sternum moves in and out.

 

yes.

 

2. The other is a bigger

> movement and more difficult. The breathing is irregular and choppy.

 

No. It should not be difficult.

 

> HELP!!!!

 

I hope this helps.

 

Do a few breaths and then relax the breath and then start again.
