connecting from a distance

I would like to welcome many new and old members. It seems that one thing

some of us have in common is that we do not have any place to receive

adequate Kundalini Yoga training in person because of our location within

the world. I live in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and their are no Kundalini Yoga

classes available in

the state. I was lucky to live in Colorado in 1980 and did have very good

instructions for

about a year. I did not continue after coming back to Wisconsin until

the last nine months.

 

I bring this up because their are certain things that I do to stay connected

and increase my spiritual growth. I hope other people may

have ideas, kriyas, meditations, or other means of "keeping up" from a

distance. The people on this list help me with my connection to my higher

power and I need help - I can not do it alone.

 

Things I do:

* meditate daily (40 day regiment )

* "Tune in" at beginning of meditation or yoga

* play music from 3h0 juke box

* take cold shower when possible before exercise

* making collage of yoga, Sikh, and spiritual items to sanctify my exercise

area

* do Kundalini yoga set 4-5 times a week- 45 minutes including meditation

* read spiritually inspiriting Kundalini books every night before retiring

* joined this list and use information to experience knowledge

* constantly looking for ways to improve and expand my spiritual awareness

*continue to increase my collection of Yogi Bhajan

literature- study and practice various

* I started to wear white this morning in my Sadhana

* I started to focus below my navel point when I did Breath of Fire this

morning - wow! Thanks Rattana

 

If anyone has ideas or things that they do please share. ( I am looking for

a new meditation to increase my intuition)
