What an intense letter!! We all have difficulties in our lives. I

believe surviving upsets and learning and growing from them is an

extremely important part of our education in this life. I don't know

what your situation is, but I was having a very rough time about a year

ago. I knew I needed to do something, but was terrified to do it. One

night I had a visit w/ a spirit guide. I was told that one of the

hardest things for us to do as physical beings is to go through pain

(especially emotional pain). It is always for the higher purpose of our

spirit/soul's journey. Our soul understands our trials on a different

level and with the full picture. Physically we're so afraid of pain.

She told me not to be afraid of pain. Good will always come from

it-eventually. She said our souls have things to accomplish and learn

and are always happy and full of love. So, I guess the bottom line is to

practice becoming closer and listening to your spirit. I try to remember

that we are here for a higher purpose and so is everyone else. No one is

perfect (including ourselves!!). Focus on the positives of it. I

promise, there are some. Take time to meditate, just sit in quiet by

yourself. Listen to your thoughts. If you are willing to accept the

pain and allow yourself to feel it, don't fight it. Work through it

until it becomes love. Don't dwell on it!!! Maybe someone can give some

insight on balancing feeling pain but not getting caught up in it. Make

amends w/ anyone you need to. Accept you have no control over anyone but

yourself. Remember you are responsible for your own actions, no one

else's. Look for love in the universe-there is plenty out there. Ask

your guardian angels/spirit guides/ whatever you wish to call them to

help you open up to feel their love and comfort. It is there. Service!!

Good deeds for others, helping others, is a wonderful way to lift your

spirits. Also, a good cry helps me immensely. Take care. I send

compassion your way. Jeanette
