Chanting helps change the energy and break up the mental trips. One universal mantra is Sat Nam. You can chant this any way you want. One way is Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat Nam. Put all your emotions into the mantra. Maybe someone can give some > insight on balancing feeling pain but not getting caught up in it. TIP__THE trick is to feel the pain totally non-verbally. We are not feeling if we are thinking. If there are thoughts in our mind, that is not feeling. Feeling is a physical sensation. Through feeling, the energy will be transmuted. This is the goal. You have called it transcend, Joel. Transcending is really be coming one physically with the energy. Has any one besides Ingrid done this? If so please share with us.
