Guest guest
I have a question for the ng. I have been meditating for some time now. Just recently, I have had some new experiences, and would like to share them with you. I have been using localized attention to certain areas of my body along with counting. After which (about 54 to 81 breaths), I leave my mind alone. Everything at this point is rather confusing. I have a feeling that I am observing myself, but I am aware that I am observing myself. Once I become of the second awareness, I realize that I have been unaware of what was going on and this brings the whole thing to a halt. During this time, I have the most wonderful experience. Something that is hard to even put words to. Can anyone tell me how to NOT realize that I am aware of this awareness? It would be much appreciated. Secondly, if this is the experience that one is trying to achieve, it is infinitely pleasureable. And if this is in fact the case, then isn't this what Patanjali said to avoid. The whole pleasure / pain cycle. Brightest Blessings, Adam Hoyt
