Hi everybody.

Can anyone re-post the instructions to "4-part breath" which were on the

list? or tell me how to get to the digest and I guess I can find it there.

Rattan suggested it to me, and I know she is doing a workshop this

week-end and may be busy. I want to start right away.

Thanks.

Also I've been meaning to tell you about the breath walk. It was suggested

to me by Gurucharan Khalsa. Very simple and powerful:

You walk -left right left right , each step a beat, 1-2-3-4.

First, inhale in 4 parts with each step, mentally saying SA-TA-NA-MA.

L R L R

(of course you can start with your right foot)

Then exhale in 4 parts- whispering

wa (pronounced wah)-he (pron.hey)- GU-RU

L R L R

Do the above for 5 minues, then walk and breathe naturally for 3 min.

Then repeat till you do the above 4 times.

5 min.3 min for four times.

[harder to explain in print than verbally!]

If anyone has been to solstice I know they do it there, maybe longer.

I don't know about extending the time. If anyone knows pls let me know.

enjoy.

Greetings Kartar Kaur

You will find the instructions for the 4-part breath on the Yoga Technology

website - meditati.html

Reading your other posting, maybe we should start a separate list -

specially for devotees of JH & KY. I used to think that guy was god. He is

still way up on high, even now! ;-)
