Guest guest
Blessings, Rattana, regarding the exuberance of the woman (?) who did the 5 minutes a day, and how she got so much done. I remember something that my father told me when I was much younger. He said, "Give to God some time first thing in the morning; and with that done, you will have time for everything and everything will have time for you." Guest guest
Dear Adam, A student named Sandra. She was usually depressed and didn't get anything done. So when she was happy she had a lot of time to be productive. > I remember something that my father told me when I was much younger. > He said, "Give to God some time first thing in the morning; and with that > done, you will have time for everything and everything will have time for > you." > Thank you for sharing that wisdom with us. Guest guest
Adam, this is really beautiful (like all things you say). I also noticed when I was in Hst and doing sadhana (chanting) with the group, my whole experience of time changed. I had time to get everything done. Time was not an enemy. Things flowed. If I skipped for a couple day, the ol' anxiety started piling up, and I would "run out of time" > "Adam Hoyt" <walkwiththought > > Blessings, > > Rattana, regarding the exuberance of the woman (?) who did the 5 minutes a > day, and how she got so much done. > > I remember something that my father told me when I was much younger. > He said, "Give to God some time first thing in the morning; and with that > done, you will have time for everything and everything will have time for > you." > > Shanti, > > Adam >
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Yogically 40 days is the time that it takes to break a habit. In 90 days we can create a new one. So we practice a yoga set or meditation for 40 days to experience the true benefit from it. If you would like to join our 40 day club, simply pick one of the meditations that we have shared in the past months (available on autoresponders in the KYTraining and NMBeing Newsletter.) Practice for 40 days in a row and share your experiences with us. Guest guest
I also wanted to know why 40 days. Thanks for someone asking and for the answer. I'm new to Kundalini yoga but immediately got hooked. I'm determined to do 40 days straight. I have a very bad habit and hate to admit to being a smoker. So maybe this can do it for me. Hope and determined to see what can happen within and without. Thanks. Diane
Guest guest
Dear Diane, You might do the 4 part breath every time you feel like smoking. It is on demo of the www.yogatech.com site. I would be interested in your experience. Sat nam, RAttana - <Nettlelady <Kundaliniyoga > Tuesday, January 04, 2000 5:56 PM Re: 40 days > Nettlelady > > I also wanted to know why 40 days.
