Guest guest
Dear Jennifer, Re your question--How do I cope with being the imperfect me on the way > to finding my higher self? Welcome to the spiritual path. As our third eye opens and we become for conscious, we see more of our "imperfections." That is the good news and the bad news. TIP- Years ago in Ladies Camp Yogi Bhajan told us basically to list an imperfection and then state "I am the Grace of God." Keep doing it. We are human and we will always have imperfections. The trick is to remember and remind ourselves that despite the 200 imperfections--"I am the Grace of God." I personally have decided for the new year that every night before I go to bed I will go through my day and remind myself that I did the best I could. Then I will do my best to leave the day behind me, turn myself and my life over to the Divine and go to sleep. I could let myself get overwhelmed by all the things I want to do. I have decided not to do this to myself. I am going to be content doing my best. Afterall that is the best I can do. :+) Sat Nam, RAttana
Guest guest
Dear Rattana: So--what you mean is that when one conflict becomes resolved, another one will take its place, so that we are always working towrds a higher self and being. But, by 'the grace of God,' Iam not so sure what is meant. I always hear the Catholics say it; does this mean something about the little piece of God in us all? And why are we so imperfect--because we are mostly human? Does that mean that God could have been imperfect as well somewhere down the line? 'Ladies Camp' just came up in class on Tuesday night. When you have more information for this year's, could you let us in on it? I'd be very interested, & hear it might be held in July somewhere. Thank you for your kindest support. -Nancy
Guest guest
Dear Nancy, So--what you mean is that when one conflict becomes resolved, another one will take its place, so that we are always working towrds a higher self and being. This does seem to be the way it works. But, by 'the grace of God,' Iam not so sure what is meant. Yogi Bhajan told women to identify themselves as "the Grace of God". It is an affirmation of the basic essence of a woman. Helps get us out of thinking about our problems and weaknesses. I always hear the Catholics say it; does this mean something about the little piece of God in us all? Yes. And why are we so imperfect--because we are mostly human? Seems to be part of the game plan so we have something to do down here. Does that mean that God could have been imperfect as well somewhere down the line? I can't speak for God. That question is out of my league. :+) Ladies Camp is the end of June first part of July for two weeks. Will let you know when the schedule comes out.
