People leaving their families, after finding KY. Shouldn't this be a constructive force, rather than a destructive force? Wouldn't be more honorable to try to get spouses involved? I am not making moral judgments here, at all. I cannot. I personally left my family for an alternative lifestyle, and was racked with guilt for a very long time (it still creeps up on me, when I least expect it). I realize it is important to get rid of the bad energies in your life, but this seems like throwing the "baby out with the bathwater." It is difficult to find peace in one's life, by running away from unpleasantness. Isn't it better to face the unpleasantness with a calm brow, to return the negativity with peace? You can open every chakra in your body, but if your life is a vacuum which you have brought upon yourself...what energy will you receive, or give? I may be way off base here (and way out of line)...all I know is what I have lived. I am in the process of moving to Florida, and will not be online for several days...I am very interested in what the more experienced think regarding this. I will read the archives, when I get back online. I will not be receiving email from Onelist until then. Marsha
Guest guest
Diane, I believe that this type of yoga is very effective for things like quitting smoking - I quit a week ago and I haven't had any cravings at all yet - but when I do I plan to do some deep breathing to fight it off. I have been practicing KY for about a month now and I also have cut way down on my drinking and overeating. I have put up a bird feeder and watch it daily, I have volunteered for Meals on Wheels ( food delivery to the elderly ). I left home for two days this week and might have to leave for good as I now realise that some aspects of my marriage are not healthy ( I refuse to fight with my wife any more )As promised changes will occur in your life - but some of these changes may be difficult ones sat nam Joe P.S. - drink lots of water and eat lots of citrus fruit to help stop smoking _____ Visit Excite Shopping at http://shopping.excite.com The fastest way to find your Holiday gift this season
