I think everyone has difficulties w/ their parents, I've definately had

my share. You know, I lived on my own for 8 years and because of rough

times, I've moved back in w/ my parents. I'm also a mother now. One

thing that is different now is that I'm comfortable w/ who I am. I just

keep anything that may cause a conflict w/ my parents to myself. I feel

really good about my spirituality and the way I'm leading my life. I

enjoy peace & harmony...so, I don't share that side of me w/ them. I

find others to do that with. As far as dressing, you can be yourself and

dress in a way that keeps your parents happy...you'll be out on your own

soon and you can dress how you want. to me, personally, lack of conflict

is more important than advertising who I am at all times. It doesn't

need to be loud and in-your-face. you can softly radiate who you are.

Knowing inside is most important. Hope this helps, Jeanette
