Yogaia update

Greetings,

 

I have asked Gordon if it was okay for me to post this information. Several

months ago, I posted a message

about an event called Yogaia - Combining Spiritual Truth with Practical

Action. It's purpose is to bring those who teach together with those who

want to know. Sort of a linking of the cycle of information.

 

Now, I want to let everyone know how Yogaia is progressing. The reason that

there has been such a lag in

information is two-fold.

 

First, I wanted to wait long enough to see if there was any interest in

Yogaia. And second, I have been

extraordinarily busy trying to get things rolling.

 

I am happy to say that there is interest in the concept of Yogaia happening.

I have been circulating flyers

throughout the Columbus, Cincinnati, Kent, and Dayton area, and so far it

seems promising.

 

I have placed advertising in Yoga International which will be in the March /

April issue which will be

coming to newsstands soon. Also, I intend to advertise in E magazine, Home

Power magazine, and

Mountian Freak magazine. I am waiting results in these areas.

 

I have recently purchased a domain name on the internet, making it easier

for people to find information

about Yogaia. It is http://www.yogaia.org. However, domain name transfer

has not yet been completed,

but still may be accessed through http://216.92.148.205.

 

On January 12, 2000, I have a meeting with the Columbus branch of Wild Oats

Market Marketing manager

to see about sponsorship for the event. I have never done anything relating

to sponsorship, so this should be

interesting. Keep your fingers crossed.

 

I have already gotten things lined up for the World Peace Fire Vigil. I

have a friend who is a WoodBuster

and the Head Fire attendant for the Starwood Bonfire. He has agreed to tend

fire for the event. He uses fire

in a very ritualistic manner and exercises extreme caution when building and

tending the fires.
