Guest guest
Dear Larry, I have heard from several > sources that studing Kundalini yoga from a video is dangerouse and that it > must be done in the hands of a master. could you please share your thoughts > on this subject. It is obviously optimal to have personal instruction. It is also better to do something than to do nothing. Tuning is, as I just mentioned in my previous email, is one of the ways that we protect ourselves and are internally guided by the Master. The trick of course is that we have to listen within to be guided and most of us don't do that. Your intuition (and your body) will also tell you if an exercise is not appropriate for your body at this time. There are some exercises, like shoulder stand for example, that require instruction to do it correctly or you could injure yourself. There are others, like spinal flexes, that are simple and easy to do. The worst that could happen is that you do them inaccurately. Even in that case you can get powerful results, open up your energy and move to higher levels of mental and physical awareness.. TIP--follow our inner guidance and learn to distinguish between your internal wisdom, fears and excuses. Sat Nam, Rattana
