Guest guest
Can you recommend a good kriya and meditation for the throat chakra? Thanks, Nirmal Kaur
Guest guest
Nirmal Kaur, Sat Nam, There is a kriya in Ravi Singhs book,"For Body, mind and Beyond" (p.144). You can also find a similar set (as well as an additional one) in Guru Darshan Kaurs book"Energy Maps". The is a "stick-man" version of the one also in the Certification Manual. I'll search for a meditation....too bad there is no big data-base of kryias....YET!! Peace, Dev Atma (john)

Guest guest
Dear Nirmal Kaur, First I am curious if you got the two letters that I sent you regarding your question about the throat chakra? I noticed that your email address is aol.com. In the past month or so aol has not delivered over twenty emails that I have sent and has sent me no undeliverable notices. I post this to the list as something to watch out for. If you don't get a response, try again. Concerning the throat chakra--chanting mantras is one of the best exercises for the throat chakra. Chanting only long Saaaaaaaaaaaat Nams, long maaaaaaaaaaas or long ongs is good. The long tones give you time to really open the throat and connect it to the heart. Do 11 minutes a day of long chanting and let me know what you exerience. While chanting be aware of releasing your throat, relaxing your tongue and face, hearing the sound inside your head. Feel the physical connection between your throat and your heart. There are exercises for the throat chakra in my books Sexuality and Sprituality on pages 176 and in Your Life is in Your Chakras. This is the first and only response I have received. Blessings, Nirmal Kaur
