Guest guest
Hi to All Firstly I'd like to welcome all of our new members - we have gained quite a lot of you this week! :-) Many folk are asking about KY Teachers in their locality. A full international listing can be obtained from the IKYTA Website - just click on the link from Kundalini Yoga - kundalini yogaclasses.html Scroll down the page until you get to the IKYTA heading. For those who have yet to go to the Site, it contains many useful resources - details of KY techniques, copies of all the lessons issued so far for our on-line training, links for books, links to many interesting sites on the Web, KY contacts and websites listed by country, and an introduction to KY and to Chakras. There is a lot more stuff still to be added, details of which will be notified on here as and when it becomes available. This list is your forum on Kundalini Yoga. Please make use of it. We have a growing band of experts available to answer your questions, and many fellow enthusiasts ready to share their experiences. I hope you enjoy your time with us. Sat Nam! Guest guest
Hi Barbara Firstly, I am not the best person to ask about such things - I run the list and the Web site - like you I am a student of KY. Rattana, I am sure, will have her thoughts on this, and possibly some of our other teachers too, so no doubt advice will be forthcoming shortly. I have similar problems here in Scotland - no classes, although not because of any intolerant reaction from sections of the Christian church. I have been working largely on my own for the last 18 months, so I can identify with your difficulties. As an aside, have you checked out our on-line training - this has covered many of the basics of Kundalini Yoga - the first 7 lessons are available on the Web site, and also by autoresponder. To join, : kytraining- Subscription is free. Sat Nam! Gordon > "Barbara or Jerry Miller" <jlmiller > > Gordon, I am a long time student of Hatha Yoga, self taught. Guest guest
Gordon, I am a long time student of Hatha Yoga, self taught. It has come very naturally to me since I was very young. I live in the bible belt....and Yoga is considered by many, 'occult'. I am way past that... and continue with my practice daily. I do numerology, and ran across your site 'by accident'. Since I believe nothing just happens, I have endeavored to practice Kundalini Yoga. I ordered KY meditation manual for inter. students and also the Guidelines manual (with Daily practice). I also ordered 2 tapes, KY workout and Chakra Yoga. I have been doing these alternately. I am not sure if I am proceeding correctly.. I don't have any trouble doing the postures...but maybe trying to do too much... I need some advice. There are no KY teachers in this state..... Kentucky....I am trying to follow the inner voice, but at times feel I am trying to do too much, and not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions will help, as I intend to continue on this path. My blessings to all, I enjoy the daily posts, and I have learned a lot from all of them.
