Guest guest
Well! I'm getting in on this round! I too am from the counter culture hippy days, but with one major exception: my husband and I were in the minority because we never did the drugs. Most people don't believe us when we say so. He didn't do drugs because he saw first-hand in Viet Nam what it did to the men. (I have my own reasons.) We saw the original broadway production of "Hair" that was on tour in Chicago in 1971, I'm guessing. About three years ago I wrote my first college-level paper about that 'experience' (that's for Ratanna), and how it affected me for the rest of my life. It was entitled, 'Touched by Peace.' Man, (I still say 'man' not 'dude'), it was so long ago, but a never forgotten experience. Back then and now, we celebrate mother nature as a connection to spirit. I am a child of the earth--always have been, and always will be in my heart of hearts.
