Guest guest
HI Alfred, Kundalini stirs gently in most folks and will activate naturally in your quest. The important thing is to find your way inside and learn detachment so that when it evolves you will already be in your process. If you are discipined in your meditation practice this is a very important first step. Then you take what you find in terms of quiet in this practice and expand on it. If you open your mind to ceaseless meditation you will find that observing yourself throughout your life experience is the best possible foundation for kundalini since detachment will be acquired in this process. Those people who are well grounded in detachment will find living with kundalini a natural unfoldment in their awareness. Those who are not developed in the mental and emotional plane will find that living with kundalini is an overwhelming experience that doesn't ever let up. I am new to this list as well Alfred but not new to the kundalini awakening which is well over 30 years ago now. I am also not new to lists. Kundalini was gentle for me as a child and then manifest as major releases from my early twenties. This is a large list so I'm sure there are many people who can share their experience. The experience isn't all that important, it is how you deal with it. I have taught the people I work with to simply accept it as a side effect to the spiritual quest. Then if you don't focus your attention on it but instead on the work of getting out of the way(mind and emotions) of the energy flow, then you naturally learn to accept and move with it which takes the mind and emotions out of the mix. Then it is just alignment with Divine Will and living. Hope this helps. Gloria Alfred687 wrote: > Alfred687 > > I had just joined the onelist online Kundalini Yoga mailing list. Guest guest
Gloria, I'm just new to the list, I have no problems detaching myself during meditation. But thank you for the help and guidance. As I said in my introduction I am a solitary practitioner in Buddhism, so detachment is a necessity to enlightenment, along with awareness. Much gusso, William
Guest guest
Indeed the detachment is the foundation. Then it is to simply surrender and flow.
