Guest guest
Hi. Sat nam. I want to say hello to my friends on this list. I've been inactive here for a while... On Feb 21 my 19 1/2 yr-old kitty, Pata Pata was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure, after never having been sick a day in her life. I spent an agonizing week to decide that I would not fight the disease - which it can be fought and people do add months or years to their pet's life - but I didn't want to subject her to that, plus she had it pretty bad. So, on Sat., March 4 I took her to the vet and she got an injection and died. So, if any of you are so inclined, any prayers or thoughts for her safe passage are welcome. I told her she will be with my Mom, who loves all living things, esp. little grey kitty cats. I often thought of all you unseen friends out there because while she was sick I would often sit with her and read to her from the Peace Lagoon, which contains holy writing from the Sikhs. It always comforted her, and me too. Best, Kartar Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Kartar Kaur and everyone, When someone or an animal passes, chant akaaaaaaaaaal 5 times. Akal means undying. This gives them the energy vibration to pass through the astral plane and be liberated into the light. I also chant this at the end of all yoga classes to help the disembodies souls who are trying to leave who have no one to pray for them. I have also chanted it for dead animals on the road. Sometimes I get powerful waves of emotions for the poor animals and people who were stuck and are so grateful to have a beam of light to leave on. Guest guest
Hi, Peace, yes, Each time a do my Rituals with my meditations and candles, yes, I do chant "ohm madne padne ohm". with one exhaling breath,,,,,, thru my belly. and out of my mouth then breathe thru my nose into myself, and chant again, at least yes- about 5 times. -- interesting , Thank you also, our Guru here for this change, -- Gordon, yes.... akraaaaal! chant it is quite wholesome and instilling. too. I do hope that my words are inspiring and not displeasing... or confusing... I tend to philosophize quite a bit, along with trying to remember all of the words.... These are the newbies I'm learning, ..... I do it all, and have lived it all, now I'm learning how to explain it all.... Thank you so much everyone.
