Let them know your reasons for wanting marijuana legalized. Relating personal

experiences can work very well. Do not be too concerned about whether or not

your arguments will change an official's opinion; stating your beliefs is

what is most important. And if you agree with the Legalize Platform --

legalize marijuana, end the Drug War, and keep all other drugs illegal -- let

them know this.

 

Please remember to be polite, responsible, and articulate. Antagonistic

attitudes and abusive language do not persuade, nor do they help the cause.

Remember many officials on our list are in fact sympathetic to us and have

sponsored good legislation on both medical marijuana and industrial hemp. [una
