Guest guest
Hello, This response is a response to the response that Dierdre (hope I didn't spell it too badly) gave to the "how can I love the evil person" question. I was going to respond at a later time, but I saw this and had to respond. Learning to love people who are and do evil things is challenging, but looking at them in the light of Tat tvam asi brings a whole new meaning to things. When you realize that the person doing the evil thing is just another portion of yourself, loving them adds, in proportion, good to the world. I don't know if this makes sense to this situation, but it may emphasize the point. Ramakrishna was dying of a terrible affliction and was not eating any food at all. His students were worried that he was loosing too much weight, and approached his saying, "you must eat, you must eat." He looked at them calmly, "why, when I am eating with hundreds of mouths, I am getting enough." He knew all was linked. In this, too, we are are linked, we are all one; everything is in balance. I hope this was helpful and not confusing. Peace and Love, Adam ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
