effect of bellows breath

I just started doing breath of fire regularly about 2 weeks ago

during the spinal flexibility series off the kundaliniyoga.org site.

It's done in cobra and in forward bend. It feels very cleansing to

me, and builds up alot of heat. Of course, I probably have more gunk

to cleanse, since I'm new at the whole KY shebang. (It's also the

point where I think, "rats. forgot to use the neti pot when I got up

":))

 

I'd love to spend more time with it, but I'm always eating (I'm sure

it'd make me sick on a full stomach) and/or toting around a child in

a sling or rebozo. Speaking of which, what's the minimum time per

sitting you would do this to feel some energizing effects? so as

better to chase a toddler. Does effect vary according to how long

(how many months/years) you've been working on it?

It depends. Experiment and see the effects. At least 5 minutes in 1-5

minute segments should be enough to feel some effects for several hours.
