Hi Gordon....

I am a manager of an e-group list myself, but the traffic is low enough that

i can do the moderation manually (usually not more than 20 posts a day with

180

members)

i know that e-groups and onelist are merging soon so i wonder what kind of

new options this will give us as list managers....??

many e-mail programs DO have filters... but i don't know how

we can use it with the word "UNSUBSCRIBE" since EVERY post from

KYList has the word UNSUBSCRIBE at the bottom of the post... oops

it may just filter them ALL out... =(

i think the problem many people are experiencing is that never read the

entire post, as the UNSUBSCRIBE directions are located way at the bottom of

the posts

too bad the directions could not be moved to the top instead where the people

can see it....

i guess i let the UNSUBSCRIBE posts really get to me as they are often

impolite and screaming.... haha...and this one did it one too many times for

me ! hehe

i wonder what they thought they were

getting into when they signed up for the KYList....?? i always think of

Yoga people as very gentle and peaceful.... =)

blah blah blah

anyway..... Deeeeeeeeeep Peeeeeeeeeace!

=)

this appears to be a common thing on many mailing lists (not being able to

figure out how to or having trouble with the onelist server?)

and perhaps a little tolerance is in order. people eventually figure it

out... i enjoy and appreciate the information this list provides but quite

frankly i find your responses to some subjects a bit anal and i mean no ill

offense; just an observation.

You think so? I've been on a dozen or so mailing lists from ONElist.

This Kundaliniyoga list has more people posting "" than all

my other lists combined. And I can't figure out why that is....

maybe so but i see requests on three of the lists i am on fairly

frequently. this is a big list maybe there are just more requests. it

doesn't bother me though; maybe i should have just stayed quiet.

Hi to All

I hope this is my final mail on this subject for now - I believe I have

found a solution to this. A new policy was implemented last night for list

management. I prefer not to reveal details, but over the course of the next

few weeks I expect there to be a steady reduction in these

requests. It will not happen overnight, so please remain patient.

One other point - if replying to messages, especially to the digest, it is

essential that you remove all old headers (except sender's name) and all old

trailers, and also all messages/parts of messages that are not relevant to

your reply. Please remember this.

Sat Nam!
