Guest guest
Hi Doria Thank you for the mail. It is a question that we are frequently asked. I am currently preparing a new FAQ covering such matters - it may take some time before it sees the light of day - it is only one of many jobs that I am working on right now. To answer your question, Sat Nam is the "Bij" or seed mantra of Kundalini yoga. Sat means the Truth; Nam means to call upon, name or identify with. Sat Nam means Truth is my identity and I call upon the eternal Truth that resides in all of us. It is pronounced to rhyme with "But Mom!" A careful perusal of the Web Site - kundalini yoga will reveal the answers to this and many other questions about Kundalini Yoga. Sat Nam!
