Guest guest
Debbie, Thanks for the follow-up. I too have done it a number of times. I will be doing the meditations again this May 15 here in Kansas City, and again at Summer Solstice. I always label the meditations HARD, HARDER, and HARDEST!!!!!! Peace to You, John
Guest guest
Sat Nam, John asked about White Tantric Yoga because I alluded to that in my post on the falling asleep foot topic. I have done it previously, and I believe the one I attended on April 15th in Miami was easier than many of them . (The first day of Winter Solstice in 1999 was reported by many Kundalini Yoga Veterans to be the hardest in 20 years)! There at times is a different force that makes one able to keep one's arms up for 31 or 62 minutes. I don't think there is a way that one's will alone could do this. Probably the hardest posture for me was having my arms up at a 60 degree angle for 62 minutes. Aside, from cheating a few times, a different level of Self seemed to guide at times. The good thing about the meditations is that the ego just can't hold out that long! The main thing that struck me the most was during the first meditation when Yogi Bhajan (on video) said that we usually say prayer to something outside of when it is something that We should be hearing. There were a lot of people there for the first time and I think that it's very worthwhile to clear out subconscious patterns and old tape loops.
