Of course you can share it. You can use it as much and as often as you want to.

Mine, which I got last summer, is Sukhmani Kaur, which means "princess who is

the treasury of comfort and peace." In fact, I have wondered if there are other

"Sukhmani"'s out there. You will find, Natalie, that spiritual names are shared

by many people, some men, some women.

So Natalie what is your spiritual name, and what does it mean?

For those who don't know it, you can ask for your spiritual name by e-mailing

Yogi Bhajan (you can go through his home page) or writing to him (Route 2, Box

132D, Espanola, NM 87532). It takes time to get your name back, but you will

get it!

Sukhmani Kaur

Dear Natalie and everyone,

I am another very happy person on the list! I have just received my

spiritual name as well, as Satsang Kaur. I feel it is so auspicious to be

blessed with a spiritual name right before the unusual New Moon tomorrow...

It is certainly a sign for a great new beginning. May we live up to it. I

also found it amazing how well it fits with my life: the thing I like best

is the company of the wise - and their students.

Thank you so much to Gururattan Kaur for the help! And thank you to

everybody for offering a real satsang (congregation of truth) on the list.

Sat Nam, Doria,

I'd put this info in the other day, but its worth repeating. Also, I forgot to

add that Yogi Bhajan needs your full birth name, your date of birth and your

place of birth in order to determine your birth name.

You can ask for your spiritual name by e-mailing Yogi Bhajan (you can go through

his home page) or writing to him (Route 2, Box 132D, Espanola, NM 87532). It

takes time to get your name back, but you will get it!

I hope I have all this information correct, if not, anyone out there, feel free

to correct it or add to it.

Bliss and Blessings

Hello everyone,

I have been on the list for about a month now and have finally plucked up

the courage to write. I think it was all the interest in the Spiritual Name!

Incidentially I have had trouble finding the link/e-mail address from Yogi

Bhajan's home page....does anyone have his direct

e-mail address please?

I have been doing hatha yoga for three years now and joined this group to

increase my awareness of kundalini yoga. Yoga is such a vast topic so I am

open to learning about certain different 'schools' and so on.

I am 27 and live in the UK and, without sounding too pretentious I hope,

yoga has changed my life and changed me. It is the only thing that has given

me a certain peace in my life. Amazing. I went on my first yoga retreat in

March and I found it stirred up some deep emotions but at the end of the

retreat I was full of a sublime joy. I think this is amazing to experience -

this inner peace - when all around us, in the world, there is such a lot of

pain.

Anyway it is an interesting list and if anyone can give me any tips for

finding this spiritual name I would be most grateful!

My name is Caroline Savery.

And a though for the day from little me:

"For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life.

But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten

through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt

to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these

obstacles were my life."

Alfred D Souza

Thank you,

Caroline.

SAt Nam,

Anyone can ask for a spiritual name. There are no prerequisites. It is

good to have the names for your children.

Sat Nam,

Gururattan Kaur
