Chrissy,

I appreciate your sentiment about positive thinking, but what is "the

drunken monkey"? I forwarded your suggestions to my brother who is having

trouble accomplishing his goals and I know he is going to ask me that

question. Would you help me with an answer for him?

it means stating your intent without contradicting yourself.....using butts

or listening to the drunken monkey. stating what you want and why you want

it on a positive note. your desire has to match your thought for

manifestation to happen. if you say you want a new car and then follow up

with but i cant afford it you are keeping it from happening. the universe

listens to you. what they hear from you is what they deliver. always be

careful what you are thinknig....it might come true. say for instance you

have a headache........you ask for the headache to go away.....they hear

headache and give you more headache. if you ask for wellness that is what is

heard and they deliver wellness. unless ofcourse you are denying yourself,

or thinking negative thoughts then the headache will remain until your

thoughts turn positive (truly positive). the key is that your emotion has to

be in line with your intent. you can say anything but you cannot hide your

feelings. when you are on your quest for tapees state what you want and why

and ask the

universe to deliver the right thing for you at the right time. youll be

surprised they might even end up a giveaway in your mail box. i hope this

helps and you find what you are seeking.

Judy,

Hello. The drunken monkey is that voice that gives you the excuse not to

do something. Ex. you are on a diet and you see a piece of cake that you

want, you know you are dieting and shouldnt have it, but the drunken monkey

comes out and gives you all the reasons you should have that cake. He tells

you what you think you want to hear to keep you from doing what is really

important to you. He is the excuse. So you eat the cake, and the candy too

all the while proclaiming to be on a diet when in all actuality you are not.

He makes the tough jobs "easy". The drunken monkey will gladly give us all

the reasons why eating just one piece of cake doesnt really matter. He serves

as denial, justification, rationalizations, and stories to explain why we

didnt get what we wanted. With these reasons, we avoid something in

ourselves, something we are afraid of. I think the key is to listen to your

"gut" that is your guidance system, and to let feelings flow instead of

stifling them. The more you stifle the more you stagnate, the more you

stagnate the less you get done, the less you get done the worse you feel, the

worse you feel, ect....ect.......I hope this helps. Also remembering there

are no mistakes only lessons helps.
