Guest guest
Dear Isis I think you have completely missed the point. Nobody is forced to do anything at Solstice - they are merely encouraged to participate. Also it was three different exercises, of 62 minutes each that we did - they were all navel pumping, but only the first was the true Sat Kriya. I had never been able to do Sat Kriya for more than 12 minutes before, but such was the energy in the tantric shelter that day that I managed the full time with ease - my heels were sore from sitting on them, but my arms were still strong at the end - to me that gave an incredible feeling of achievement - to have conquered my own fears and perceived weaknesses - and it is something that I took away with me at the end. Surely that is one of the things that KY is all about - to build the warrior mentality, and discover your true capabilities. I hope to write more about Solstice Camp when I get time, but I will merely say that it was one of the most wonderful weeks of my life, and I hope to be there again next year, Sat Kriyas and all! Sat Nam! Guest guest
thanks , i needed/wanted to hear someone else's more positive viewpoint to clarify & would like to hear more of your experience &, what you get out of it cumulatively, & other wise & why it is worth the supreme effort , financially, stresswise of travel , camping & contending with hot weather without a nearby body of water B*B <>ISIS<> ----- Original Message ----- "gordon" <gordon <Kundaliniyoga > Wednesday, June 28, 2000 5:37 PM Sat Kriya at Solstice Camp > Dear Isis > > I think you have completely missed the point. Now I don't feel so bad for missing this year in order to stay home and tend to my mommy-type duties. Gail (who considers it a triumph to make it thru' a set without having to stop and change a diaper and/or nurse a baby and/or otherwise tend her little ones)
