Guest guest
Hi, Im a watcher of the list more than an active conversationalist. Mostly what I see on the messages are.. "How do I..?" etc So I thought Id suggest a book.... "Siddartha" by Herman Hesse. It might help some if you can see the message Also Im wondering, nothing is ever mentioned (tht I have seen) of the horrors which can occur when raising the kundalini along pathways tht are not prepared and ready.. rather like trying to snare a lion with a piece of wool, should not some warnings be given aswell as suggestive advice? just a couple of thoughts
Guest guest
Hi Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan does prepare the pathways before the energy starts to flow - I have yet to hear of any horror stories connected with the raising of the Kundalini in this manner. Most folk who have had problems would appear to have either had a spontaneous awakening, or else have been practicing certain forms of chakra meditation without also doing the necessary exercises to enable them to cope with the inevitable results. Kundalini awakening should be a pleasant rather than traumatic experience. My advice would be that if you can't attend a class, then buy a good book on KY and if there are any points on which you are uncertain, ask on here. Sat Nam!
