Guest guest
Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member, and would like to thank Gurrattan Kaur for her having this site available to all that are interested. My name is Alfred (Alf), and I became a K-Yoga Teacher in 1987, I was in California at the time and was taught by Dr. Dyal Singh a wonderful teacher that I have lost touch with lately. From wha I understand he was in charge of the 3HO center in Phoenix for some time. It was Kundalini Yoga which opened up many things for me, including studying alternative medicine, ayurveda acupuncture and others it has been a real journey since. I owe this catapult of personal evolution to Kundalini Yoga as I had my first spiritual encounters while becoming a teacher. I would recommend to anyone who is seriously interested to go through formal training! Or at least, attend one of the conferences or retreats available throughout the World. My teaching brought me to Mexico, my native country and I gave classes there which the group still practices. I was in Baja California for 4 years, around the Yuma Arizona area. Talk about heat!!! I have given classes in 126 degree temperature. boy is that a rush! Now that I am in Colorado I am opening the first Yoga Center devoted to teaching K-Yoga in Spanish. Great to be on Board. Sat Nam.
