Guest guest
I was just told that breath of fire raises blood pressure. I have high blood pressure and am seeing a Chinese medicine practitioner, getting acupuncture and herbs for it. I am guessing that, like aerobic exercise, it may raise the blood pressure while practicing but in the long run will be good? helping to bring it down? Both my white man doctor and my Chinese doctor are of absolutely no help with this question (I know yoga teachers have to say "ask your doctor" to cover their butts but in my experience doctors think that yoga is just a nice stretching relaxation technique and don't know squat about it or it's effects) so I wondered where I might get some reliable information about breath of fire's effects on blood pressure. Any other tips for bringing down blood pressure would be appreciated greatly too. Thanks! Dear Gururattan, I am getting a lot out of your book 'Transitions to a Heart Centered World'. What a treasure of information! Thank You for Creating this marvelous book! Peggy Sue
Guest guest
Constant Meditations will cut u down completely the pressure.Do it deligently and without douht of what u are doing!Meditate and mediate and also your temper check it.,if u still has temper than u can cut it off where all pressure shall come down.,if sun heat is the problem get the sun levels to protect u and u shall feel it is always cooling when u are under the sun like an aircond????Thanks.Of course cut down all good food, mind is part purifies but not blood system purifies!!! - "Peggysue" <pmcrae <Kundaliniyoga > Monday, August 07, 2000 6:39 AM Blood Pressure > I was just told that breath of fire raises blood pressure.
