Guest guest
Hi Nancy: There is a thing called "Empty Nest Syndrome" which your children and your child leaves home and you go through a phase of bereavement. I will probably very soon will be faced up with the same situation. As far as numbing in the arms and headaches I would go see a doctor. I just said "just a check." I can tell you with my experiences with yoga, I started about a month ago and in a couple of weeks I felt worse because I was releasing toxins from my body. I think headaches would occurr when I strain myself so I am becoming more gently with my body. The resistance was incredible. (Psychologically and physically, also mentally). I also had problems breathing so I did the breath of fire and pranayama. It has been very hot and humid in this part of the country. I felt something in me was dying. But the process of purification, to me, was extraordinary. I can't explain it in words but I am doing the best I can. The tightness in my lower back feels like it has loosened up and my mind seems to be working at a very rapid pace. I felt that there was a reversal in my aging process and of all the years I have been on this physical plane, I never realized I had a sense of humor. Please let us know what you are doing. You are in my prayers. Many blessings to you and your family Linda
