Some experiences are more intense than others. At the moment I've spaced the the authors name, sorry. I've had some psychic experiences too, oftentimes I have difficulty discerning between "psychic" experiences and weird egoistic manifestations. I've found that being super intuitive is tricky. take it easy. kelly ______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
I was introduced to Kundalini yoga last fall. I had several energy movement and other experiences in the beginning which I think is not very unusual. I have some psychic experience and feeling spirits in different places. I was scared for a while but I started doing long Ek ong kar mediation. It was very good and I think I became more stable in that sense. I don't do practice everyday but I see the difference a lot. sometimes in June I was eating during lunch time at work that I had a very weird experience. I started feeling unusually warm while the office was cold. I normally feel very cold. I started feeling very strange and went to bathroom. I looked at my face and saw that my skin is very read down to my neck. No other place was red. I came back and it went off in about an hour. The doctor had no idea about what it was. The symptom didn't look like an allergy reaction. I was okay for a while. Last week I was at home that I felt warm again. My ears and part of my face and hands up to wrist and my knees became unusually red again. I went off after about 10min. Again last weekend, I had the same reaction but just my ear and part of my face was red. I am not sure if it is related to energy movement or anything else. I don't believe that it is any type of allergy. Could you tell me if you know what can it be? Thanks , Mitra ______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
again i am speaking only from my personal experiences...it may or may not apply to everyone... when kundalini rises to higher levels of chakras, the first thing that one will notice is considerable increase in body temperature...there were cases where it was extremely cold and windy on the beach and i was feeling normal with just a t-shirt, while everyone around me was freezing and covered with layers of blankets. (from what i heard the same symptoms could be seen when taking prescription drugs like niacin i guess)...when the body temperature increases, the color of the body also changes to red...the eyes turn red... when this happens, turn the mind inward and watch where the kundalini or the life force stops...for that will show where the blocks are...for example if you find that it stops at the heart, then it's time to work on heart related unblocking exercises and if it stops at throat then it is related to communication & self expression blockages and so on.... i feel this is nothing to be afraid of...just increase the awareness of the processes going on within your body and stay with it, without trying to suppress it or move it forward... patience...truth & love.... > ---

Guest guest
Mitra: I am reading an old yoga book, though not about Kundalini, which discusses not just heat flashes but rashes as manifestation of yoga flushing the toxins from your body. In the book, though, the author described this as a result of someone doing too much yoga. But since Kundalini is so much more powerful than regular Hatha asanas, which the book covers, I am sure this same result is not uncommon for Kundalini practitioners. And by the way, I too have trouble discerning whether I am just very intuitive, or totally full of myself.
Guest guest
I have heard of the prejudice in peoples minds this past week. Assuming because someone is Arab, Afganistanian(sp?), Iranian or Mussliem they are "the bad guys". I have also heard that many Seiks are being targeted becasue of the turban they wear and the sword they carry. This of course is so wrong and just another point why we should NEVER judge others for race, religion color,,,whatever! This however raised a question for me. Please forgive my iggnorance, as I am not completly familiar with the Seik religion, but I am wondering what the significance of carrying a sword is? Just asking becasue asking is the only way to learn.
