Guest guest
Gordon, I guess I should address this to you? Is there any way I can streamline what I'm getting from this list? At first I just got one e-mail per day with all the messages on it and an occasional personal e-mail from someone on the list. I liked that. Now I'm getting that plus all kinds of separate related messages. Sometimes it is a lesson or zine and I do like getting those but I also get a lot of repetitions and seems like I now get each message separately maybe several times. I like being on the list and do not want to but it seems like 75% of my e-mail is repetitious stuff related to this list. I can't begin to understand how these lists are monitored and I thank you very much for taking on the task. I do find the list valuable and appreciate being able to be part of it. Sincerely, Peggy Sue
Guest guest
Thank you for this helpful suggestion Sadhant! Where is this "my profile/my groups" button, command? Streamlining this list would be immensely helpful! Sat Nam! Michael Conley Kundaliniyoga , Peggysue <pmcrae@r...> wrote: > Is there any way I can streamline what I'm getting from this list? Dear Peggysue: If you want to go back to the daily digest form, where you get one message with the whole day on it, go to My Profile/My Groups, and change the selection from individual e-mail to daily digest. Guest guest
Sat Nam Michael: You'll have to go to the web-site (www.) - sorry, I should have given more explicit directions. Once you've signed in, you won't have any trouble finding a set of links that says "Home", "My GroupsHelp" - use the "My Groups" link. There will also be a "My Profile" link to view/edit all your saved information on from which you can access "My Groups" and some other options. With My Groups you may access your list of d groups, which includes a columns titled "Delivery Options". Don't forget to press "Save Changes" when you have set everything as desired. I like to get the postings in the daily digest, which is much more convenient, and if I want to access the postings during the day, I simply use the website to view the current messages, as I'm doing now. Take care! Sadhant
Guest guest
Dear Peggysue > I guess I should address this to you? The buck stops with me, that is for sure! ;-) > Is there any way I can streamline what I'm getting from this list? First of all, you should not be receiving more than one copy of each posting. What does tend to happen though is that folk replying tend to forget to trim the original message, and end up appending it in its entirety. I would take this opportunity to remind everyone about this once again - if you ever need to take a look for something in the archives you will soon realize why it is necessary. To cut down on the number of individual messages you receive, you can change your subscription to digest mode - kundaliniyoga-digest Then you will get at least one composite message each day, more if the number of individual messages exceeds 25. Training messages go out on a separate list - KYTraining - you only get them if you are d there. The New Millennium Being is sent to rs both on its own list and also to the KY Training List. If you are d to both then you will receive duplicates. I like being on the list and do not > want to but it seems like 75% of my e-mail is repetitious > stuff related to this list. Thanks for the kind comments. The task of monitoring these lists was becoming too much for me, with all my other commitments, both here and elsewhere. I would like to introduce you all to my assistants Brian & Suki (take a bow folks!) who currently monitor both KY lists, taking turns week about. They receive little recognition and probably even less thanks, but they do a wonderful job behind the scenes. As always, if anyone has any comments, complaints, suggestions or whatever, I am always available, off-list - kundaliniyoga-owner Sat Nam!
