Guest guest
Hi, my name is Amber and I have recently become very interested in yoga. My question is what is the difference between plain yoga like on the Yoga Zone show, and Kundalini yoga, and can I do this at home on my own? I'm looking for ways to center myself. Thanks
Guest guest
> Sat Nam Amber! You will probably get a lot of answers from people with more experience that what I have, but I still tell you what I know. Kundalini Yoga is very dynamic compared to other types of yoga. It's also complete as it includes body exercises, chanting of mantras and meditation. One of my teachers reported that Yogi B. told once that if you want to reach Los Angeles, you can do it with many means of transport, from simply walking to a plane. If you want to be there very fast, you take the plane. Along the same lines, if you want to reach your objectives very quickly, you do kundalini yoga. It's reported to be 16 times more effective than other yoga. This is what I heard. If someone disagrees , he's welcome to tell it. I always look for other opinions, it's the only way to learn!.. > and can I do this at home > on my own? You'll have to learn first. I do it on my own since where I live there are no teachers (Austria). I bought books, music cassettes and cds, but as soon as I can, I go to workshops and courses in other countries. Love, sat sarbat k.
