Guest guest
Dear Sadhant, I was curious to know if there is any one set or stretch you would suggest for a very sore neck and shoulder area? Thanks very much! Sat Nam, Paul
Guest guest
Sat Nam Paul: My favorites for that are shoulder shrugs: inhale, lift the shoulders up as high as possible with the arms relaxed on the knees, exhale and release back down again. Follow those with neck rolls, dropping the chin to the chest and rotating the head slowly, trying to bring the ears to the shoulders and the back of the head against the spine, getting the full range of motion. Be sure to focus on keeping the shoulders relaxed during the rolls, and do them in both directions. This pair of exercises is highly recommended to do regularly during the day if you sit at a desk as most of us do. Many blessings, Sadhant

Guest guest
Dear Paul, Sore throats, necks, shoulders, glands, nose and ears relate to the throat chakra. There is a very good set for the thyroid and parathyroid glands I could recommend, but that is the type of set to search for. A blocked throat chakra could be down to suppressed emotions, things you want to say but haven't because of maybe hurting someone else. Or concealing the truth. Basically the thought comes up - travels to the throat to be expressed, but if you decide to hold back and not allow it to be voiced that energy will stay caught up in the throat. It up to you to clear it. Sat Nam, Julie
